About
Modern Painters is the definitive international source for analysis of contemporary art
and culture—from painting and sculpture to photography, film, architecture, design, and
performance. Our oversized pages are visually dynamic, full of artwork by some of the most
exciting talents working today, much of it previously unseen. The writing—by some of the best
known voices inside and outside of the art world—is fresh, incisive, and above all accessible.
The Louise Blouin Foundation, founded by philanthropist and entrepreneur Louise Blouin to promote “experimentation, questioning, debate and learning,” presents the work of individual artists and hosts arts-related lectures, screenings, performances, debates, workshops and summits. Located in a renovated Rolls Royce factory in London, the foundation is home to a 5,000-square-foot gallery and is one of the city’s largest nonprofit arts spaces.
